This conference brings together child professionals, researchers and policy makers in order to share knowledge on different programmes and efforts to assist children and young people that have been sexually violated via the Internet and related technologies.
The focus in the conference will be on good practices developed assisting children that have come to harm, on research that have looked into how these harms are inflicted and knowledge that have been developed on how children can be assisted to make sense of their experiences. The conference builds on the belief that we need to increase our knowledge base by learning from the recovery process of affected young people in order to increase resilience and to prevent children and young people from coming to harm.
The conference is organised by BUP Elefanten at Linköping University Hospital, Swedish Children's Welfare Foundation and the Working Group for Children at Risk, WGCC, within the Council of the Baltic Sea States.
